One way to teach them about money is to make a game out of it. Have some change available and let them win the change when asked a question. Make each question a different value. An example would be question number 1 would be worth 3 cents. Lay the money out for them to choose the three cents and if they do it correctly the first time they get to keep the money. Have some prizes at the end of the game so that they can purchase items again counting back the money to you to make that purchase. This will teach them how to count with out them realizing they are learning. To them it is just a game but they will learn how to count money.
When it comes to using preschool worksheets, you will find that you have a number of different options. For instance, you can purchase preschool workbooks for your child. Preschool workbooks are nice, as they are a relatively large collection of individual preschool worksheets. You also have the option of using printable preschool worksheets. A variance to counting money game would be to start them out with their own money pot, then if they get the answer wrong, they have to give back money to you. Each question would either add to their pot or deduct. At the end of the game you will still want to have the prizes available for purchase and allowing them to earn their prizes. Using games to learn about money is much easier than getting free money worksheets and having them try to add on paper. This interactive money game will be a great learning tool in your home school.
